Delmar Publishers, a division of International Thomson Publishing (ITP), was founded in 1945 in Albany, NY. The Delmar staff includes over 300 employees including administration of the ITP Career Education Sales Force and Business/Industry & Government Sales Force. Delmar is also home to Autodesk Press.

In 1995 Delmar published over 1,000 products that served the educational and training needs of learners in vocational high schools, private career colleges, community colleges, universities, businesses, apprenticeship programs, hospitals, and nursing homes.

Milady is the world's leading publisher of Cosmetology educational materials, including SalonOvations, the official publication of the National Cosmetology Association. Milady products include the industry 'bible': standard textbook of Cosmetology.

Nursing & Education:
Delmar is a growing publisher of dozens of nursing books for both education and the practitioner, including the popular Nursing Drug Reference (NDR 96) and Nurses Drug Guide.

Delmar is also a leading publisher in the area of Early Childhood Education with new titles in elementary education and special education.
